Mr Scott
Mr. Scott is an Indiana/ Michigan native who recently relocated to Arizona as the new Owner of The Goddard School Scottsdale (GSS). Scott has a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education with over 20 years experience in the public school system as a teacher and administrator. Scott felt an immediate connection to Goddard’s philosophy of fostering a lifelong love of learning in children through play and inquiry-based teaching, which provides a fun and safe environment for young minds to grow. He is committed to creating a learning environment where ALL children are welcomed, loved, and nurtured, boasting that every child will be kindergarten ready before Goddard graduation. Mr. Scott's vision for the school is to CONNECT children, educators, and parents in a community of TRUST, so that together we can create an educational environment that allows us to THRIVE both now and into the future!

Bettina
Ms. Bettina is originally from Illinois and her family moved to Arizona 7 years ago. Ms. Bettina has 4 children, two young men (30 & 28) and twin young ladies (20). Ms. Bettina has been in the Early Childcare industry for over 28 years as a teacher, Assistant Director and now the Operations Director at The Goddard School. Ms. Bettina is currently working on her Bachelors in Arts Degree, has her Center Directors Certificate and 21 years classroom experience.

I have worked at Goddard for over three years as well as one year at the ASU Child Study Lab. I am currently attending ASU studying Child Psychology, hoping to help teachers better understand how children learn. I love working with children and watching them learn and grow. My favorite children's book is "The Day the Crayons Quit" written by Drew Daywalt. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and going to new coffee shops and bakeries.

Ms. Lixia has been with The Goddard School for 4 years. She started in the toddler classroom and has moved with those same children all the way up to preschool!
