Suzanne Sorof, MD, is a fellowship-trained cardiologist with expertise in cardio-oncology, cardio-obstetrics, preventive cardiology and general cardiovascular medicine. She trained at Baylor College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University and Virginia Commonwealth University. She has served the Phoenix area since 2007, bringing nearly two decades of cardiovascular experience to her patients. Dr. Sorof provides comprehensive cardiac care, including all cardiac testing and management of general cardiology and vascular medicine. She offers specialized care in cardio-oncology, pulmonary hypertension, cardio-obstetrics, preventive cardiology and preoperative clearance. She takes a patient-centered approach, getting to know each patient and their goals for heart health. She combines guideline-directed therapy with flexibility for those who prefer holistic approaches and has a special focus on women’s heart care, including guidance through menopause. Originally from New York, is fluent in Spanish and comfortable caring for Spanish-speaking patients. She has two sons and enjoys traveling, scuba diving, music festivals and reading historical fiction.
