Dr. Gburek specializes in prostate disease, urologic oncology, minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of urologic diseases, as well as robotic prostatic surgery. He performed the first robotic prostatectomy in the state of Arizona in 2002. He also specializes in the treatment of BPH/enlarged prostate including the minimally invasive UroLift System. Prior to joining Arizona Urology Specialists in 2009, Dr. Gburek was in practice at Scottsdale Center for Urology. He was featured in numerous newspapers, magazines, and television interviews for his groundbreaking work in robotic surgery, being the first in AZ to perform a robotic prostatectomy.
